For good – with Darth Talon (see image above) stepping into the Darth Vader/apprentice role – Talon was a female Lethan Twi’lek Sith Lord covered in Sith tattoos in the comics. Lucas was considering having Darth Maul return as the villain after the death of Emperor Palpatine – yes, Lucas killed him off. However, now via The Star Wars Archives: Episodes I-III 1999-2005 we have some details on what Lucas’ original plan – or some of it at least – was for the closing trilogy. It’s also no secret that Disney threw that story treatment out and went in their own direction although, let’s be honest, it’s questionable if the word direction can be applied to the last two saga movies. So, it’s no secret that when George Lucas sold Star Wars to Disney, he also gave them a treatment for how he envisioned the story ending.
